Accuworx called in for Critical by-pass at Toronto Island Tunnel Construction

Accuworx performed a critical by-pass of wastewater for a contractor working for the City of Toronto last week. The current contractor is machine drilling a tunnel from the main land to Toronto's island airport. The wastewater pipe was cut, and redirected for the tunnel boring machine to perform its work. Accuworxs' 40,000 Liter Stainless Steel Tanker and 6400 cfm Turbo vac took care of the wastewater flow and redirected it to another sewer. The new pipe was installed and things are back up and running.

Accuworx responds to flooded Union Station in Toronto

Accuworx crews were called out Friday evening to respond to flooding in Toronto's Union Station. Massive amounts of rain (more than 50mm) fell in a short period of time. The city's infrastructure was unable to handle the heavy rain fall, causing massive floods and back ups through out the City. All surfaces are being cleaned, vacuumed and disinfected. Accuworx crews have tirelessly worked around the clock in hopes of having the station in full operation for the Monday morning rush hour.
